Sink or suffocate, tidal waves reaching and pulling, flowing, breaking the sky in two. Breaking my ribs into pieces you can carry, tucked safe under your soft pink tongue. Chew carefully, love. I never said I wasn't hazardous.

Words breaking through the brittle bones of my exhausted arms, phantom razor-edge marks possessing the skin, my brain falling through like brightly colored yarn. I'm no Juliet, dying in vain, but in reality, it's the green earth marring my shame. My red blood cells diminishing, the white creating, over-flowing, over-throwing. Forgive me, I don't know what I'm talking about anymore.

Ageless grandfather flowers dance a dusty rhythm, working the blue graveyard shift. They speak, I see, they speak, I breathe. We are nothing more than cold conductors, symphony balanced on the edge of his baton, on his polished fingertips. I am no more than your lonely mouth taking bourbon-flavored sips. Alcoholism is the leading cause for intoxication. The heroin under your skin is the second. The messy glass jammed into your wrists is the third. Chew noisily, carefully. I never said I wasn't hazardous.

Winding widows march through the weeping cobblestone streets, chanting in rage, blackened and underage. Burning witches at the stake, this is what it takes, grimy gray hair and bruised, flaming skin and fucked up morals. Scolding white heated hearts, battered and ashamed, this is what it is. Even the trees offer no better shade.

The stars are shadowing my falling-out-eyelashes, blocking my view. I'm transparent and cold, shimmering new, I'm falling through. I can't see the blazing city limits, I'm fucking blue.

Get out of my sight before I ruin you, too.
i digress.

I like this one...a lot.
It describes some things that I've been thinking about lately and it helped me understand.
